Devils Vs Giants - League - 22nd Jan 22

Epic result and great that Coughler had the final word aswell. Like someone said.... KARMA. We seem to be really getting it together now as a team and Coughler has been an AWESOME fit. Think he is definitely one to consider for the future.

Did Brandt play at all and if so what kind of role/game did he have out of interest and finally does anyone know the shots on goal for each team?

This is such an important result for so many reasons. But mainly because the Devils deserve it. You can't play with that relentlessness and intensity and not be tired. But, it must be exhilerating to get a result like that.

Well done Guys. A few days rest now.

We played a smart game tonight. We didn’t over commit, we didn’t pinch in when we didn’t need to and we took care of the puck!
This team is unrecognisable from the team of Nov/Dec it is amazing what a couple of changes and a bit of confidence and intensity can do.
Well done!

Yes he played but I think his shift where he gave away a penalty knocked his confidence. He also took away Carruth's eyes on the Giants goal when he cut across him. One Carruth would have saved easily from that far out. Still learning. Just needs time.

A lot of the Bellend shots were from very tight angles when Carruth was hugging his post. They were also throwing shots in from the outside looking for rebounds.
Quantity over quality!

There's been a lot of fuss made on here over the season about how good Belfast are. But they're actually pretty average. We have beaten them 3/3
on home ice, and could have easily done so away. They got battered in Sheffield and they have to play Sheffield another 5 times this year. Their winning streak included 6 games v Dundee & Fife. Right now we are a better side, imo.

Great performance lads, we never looked like losing tonight we grabbed the bull by both horns and led by example. We played tonight like we can and when we do that we are a very tough team to beat, so a very good night at the office tonight and we are coming into top form at exactly the right time. Well done lads and thank you for a good night, more of the same please
