Got to feel for their new young goalie. They rushed to sign goalie cover, the poor guy knows nothing about this league. He's been thrown in the deep end, playing every game. It speaks for team support on the ice too.. are the defence protecting him? Can't be doing a lot for his confidence...

Very interesting analysis. Devils have their strongest roster post-Covid this year and have managed their injury issues really well. They are just getting into their stride... confidence high, chemistry clicking, solid goal tending, progress in the Continental Cup too. Nice to just be proud...

A big shout out to Taz Burman. Always sweet to get a shut out. Considering he only debuted last week for the Devils. Well done Taz and to the Team. A great result on the road.

Nailed comments. Steelers could have Marc Andre Fleury in goal, but we would hope the Devils would be just as fired up for a game like this.

Reading that both Steelers import netminders are injured with replacement arriving this week. Let's hope whoever is in the nets for them is a bit rusty or inexperienced. No better time to get a good result against the Orange than tomorrow evening. The Steelers are also missing 2 top forwards...

Just need to stay disciplined and get creative. Get the job done clinically in those games next week. Let the other teams face bans and suspensions.

What can we say. If they are still catching up after fatigue of Continental Cup, doesn't bode well for Wednesday's game.

Hotham was a gamechanger....and so was version 1 of Gleason pre-Covid. Perhaps PR has a different role for Fourns on this team. I'm not the coach but it seems crazy to me that our team has an offensive defenceman who is an elite skater and can pull off something special, but he is not playing...

Unbelievable. We lose to the team 9th in the League. Clan didn't even play well. But they did play a disruptive, undermining game . Can't fault the effort of our team.....just weren't creative or clinical enough with those chances.

According to Elite League stats, Clan's pp % is a healthy 32% :mad: The Devils pp % is, wait for it, 17%!!!!!:eek: I guess as long as our Guys stay disciplined and out of the bin, the Clan won't get any powerplay opportunities down here tonight.
