It's safe to assume that they're not doing it to alienate the fan base. It kind of makes it a bit more worrying that such a large injection of cash is required all of a sudden.

Thats it in a nutshell for me. I had to offset the last hike by stopping SOHB and rink food. I'll offset this one by stopping 50/50. You'd assume they've done some modelling but I'd expect this hike to generate a fraction of potential additional revenue that the headline figure would suggest.
