Will close this poll and do a new one at the end of the month for October with more players.

Several teams are playing with injuries at the moment - Aaron Fox says Sheffield are pretty banged up right now (they had 4 pre-season games). Glasgow (5 pre-season games), Belfast (4 pre-season games), Coventry (4 pre-season games) and Guildford (5 pre-season games) have all already had quite...

I'm going with Ryan Barrow for his consistency and 100% commitment every game even the losses

What's the consensus? Anyone else worthy of mention? Any honourable mentions?

No news other than to say trust Jenks33

Mieho has a 63.16% win at home and a 46.00% win away Overall Devils are 53.83% win (60.33% at home and 51.14% away) In our own defence zone we have won 57.89% of face-offs (57.58% home, 58.33% away) In the neutral zone we have won 65.66% (76.00% home, 55.10% away) In our o-zone we have only won...

Watched the game and Clan went in physical on Giants, and Giants couldn't handle that style today.

Brandt fought Martin Larsen, Mosey fought Ross MacDaugall both at 50:29 and Oligny fought Maksim Popovic at 58:41.

Marcus Crawford announced as leaving his AHL team.

Todd confirmed the Devils offered and tried to get moved out of group A and into group B for this year to even out the groups as no other team would do that, but were turned down.

Thommo confirmed Kontos is out for a few weeks in the webcast pre-game interview. Apparently he’s been playing with an injury for a few weeks and had further assessment on Friday which results in him being ruled out mid-term.

Devils won the face-off battle 37-25 (59%) Devils D-zone face-offs = 6-11 Neutral zone face-offs = 14-6 Devils O-zone faceoffs = 17-8

Thommo says Mosey's injury puts him out long term - I bet Neil Francis is busy tonight sourcing replacements with 4 out (and at least 3 long-term injuries - not sure on how long Kontos will be out)

And Manchester only had 11 shots on goal all game!

I see Guildford have further reinforced their squad today, and then gone and beaten Sheffield - if they keep this form up, this relentless style of play, this work ethic on the ice, they are going to finish very high in the league this season.

I was at the game in Guildford last night and first thing to say is that Devils were poor. However Guildford were really really good and I think many might have underestimated how good they are. They battled for every puck, put sticks in passing and shooting lanes. They were far more physical...

All players and refs were wearing neck guards on Friday night as it is compulsory. But there are different types, some which cover more of the neck than others. And at the one of the last face offs of the game with a few seconds to go, the linesman sent one of Manchester’s defence to the bench...

Neck guards are mandatory in the Elite League as per rule 9.4.5 of the EIHL regulations - the text is specifically as follows direct from the rule book: "4. Neck Laceration Protection It is mandatory for all players to wear a neck laceration protector designed for this specific purpose...

The goal in 7 seconds equals the fastest goal I can find in the EIHL (Cole Sanford scored after 7 seconds against Coventry on 8.2.25 - Devils went on the lose that game like Manchester just did so scoring early didn’t pay off). From memory 7 seconds is the record for the Elite League but I...

Premier Sports will be broadcasting 3 Devils home games this season - matches to be confirmed in due course - as confirmed by Todd at his Q&A last weekend.
