10% charge to book tickets over phone

I just phoned to book tickets (which I haven't done for ages) and was told that I would be charged £3.40 to book 2 tickets because there is a 10% charge for phone bookings.
How long has this been the case and why isn't anyone making a fuss about it. I mean there was almost a civil war over the £2 for the car park.

Its always been 10% for credit card bookings (phone or in person) or £1 per transaction on a debit card.
Always pay cash if i'm buying tickets for friends - Got a season ticket so thankfully don't have to deal with the rip off merchants too often.

I was using a debit card not a credit card but it was still 10%
In that case they've changed it. Probably trying to squeeze as much cash out of people while they're still operating the rink.

Probably more fuss about car parking as it was the Devils themselves trying to squeeze extra cash out of the fans - Everyone already knows Planet Ice are awful.
