I’m guessing they’ll sell more of the white jersey than the others.
What surprises me most is how big a deal they made of the reveal. They had a jersey hidden in ice this week on display. They did a full video for social media. They apparently had a full team event planned but had to cancel due to illness, but still had players reveal it in public.
Did they really not anticipate this fan backlash?

Last night was to be the jersey reveal/ season launch at the W5 complex inside the 02 Belfast, however due to a outbreak of illness that event was cancelled. The ice block had been on display in Victoria Square shopping centre and I believe was to be brought over to the arena as part of the unveiling.
When the main event got cancelled I think this was hurriedly put together and so some of the Giants who weren't sick turned up to reveal the new jerseys in the shopping centre.
Some fans have lost their minds over the O2 logo taken centre spot on the shirt, for me I don't really care I would much prefer to have the backing of a major sponsor and with improvements in the arena to enhance match night experience coming from O2 also, then I can live with a sponsor logo taking centre spot on a jersey. If we go onto win trophies then no one will be asking what jersey where they wearing.
