riley would be my candidate. myers a good choice. id rather not martin to keep his mind focused on being him. dixon plays in a full of passion way

As i said in a previous post Riley capt . may have been sorted in the signing contract.

Riley. Absolute no-brainer, Todd, Steve and Lordo have all spoken of his leadership and motivational skills. A hard-nosed, no-nonsense, charismatic leader with on-ice presence. Been sorely missing that since Lordo retired from playing.

Dixon for me. Knows the team, and was our biggest road warrior last year. He just exudes leadership.

For me a captain needs to love the badge, I’m not keen on first year captains as they may not be club loyal, of those I have known at our club I loved Jordan Pietrus, played every minute for the badge.
For you I think Andrew Lord was the man who fits my ideal, led by example and drove the team. Riley is a true leader but is he a true Devil?
