No player bigger than the team. That has been part of Thompson's coaching mantra, and hopefully still is.
Would like a physical, entertaining team this season and looks like the roster is on it's way to that. Remember the days the WNIR and BBT used to literally rock with the sound of the Red Army being thrilled by exciting play? Let's get back to those days.
Wouldn't it also be great to have a season without any dramas or divas off ice or in the locker room? Repeated dramas since COVID have been divisive for the team, a big distraction and just leads to speculation amongst fans and a bad atmosphere at the Arena.
Thompson will ensure that no player is bigger than the Club....it's all about team.
Don't mind if our team doesn't win anything this season . It's all about entertainment, chemistry, hard graft and re-discovering the Devils' identity. Anything else is a bonus.

Totally agree, entertainment is surely why most of us attend isn't it, as well as hard graft and leaving it all on the ice. We won't win all our games but I'll still go home happy if the guys have given it their all something sadly missing last season on more than one occasion.

Like it! This will hopefully appease those who were getting a bit edgy that we lacked experience and high hockey I.Q. in favour of a younger team.
Here he is...defence is in great pair of hands. Leadership, experience, responsible.

No magic unfortunately.
Early delivery of our groceries today.Checked the main devils news and there it was.
After i posted it on the forum rechecked and it had been removed.
Checked elite site and said he was still with Graz.I think someone made a slip.
