If anyone has an opinion on Devils recruitment this season, or wants an insight into what Thommo‘s input was versus Todd and Neil’s input, or why the players signed were chosen and what their roles might be, it’s worth listening to this week’s 2 Ales and Hockey Tales podcast with Wally, from around the 19 minute to 40 minute mark, to get that information from Neil Francis. There’s also around 8 minutes of some information on the training camp methods and how and why Thommo got the team so fatigued for last weekend’s game too, from around the 50 minute mark.

Worth a listen I think.

That's a cracking shout. Just listened and it throws completely new light on this season. From being sceptical, I'm now seeing what PT is trying to do and hopefully it will work. Love the idea of going back to being a horrible side to play against and as long as we can see progress this season then will very much buy into it.

PS: Franny surely needs a testimonial
