Cool that’s one cog in the machine sorted, and a very important part obviously. Got a feeling now as we go forward one awesome cog after another will fall into place. After a very good season, and a entertaining one I really do believe season 26/27 will also be a belter, a few tweaks here, and a few tweaks there I reckon will stand us in good stead. Bit of a shame we have to wait 4 months to get back into the groove , but as the saying goes good things come to those who wait. But in the meantime a huge thanks to our amazing owners, and a massive thanks to every 3000 plus folk who make our atmosphere what it is today, and obviously a humungous thanks to our amazing team of players, you guys really are a pure joy to watch ( well most of the time ) This season has shown just how good you guys are, and without a shadow of a doubt this team was capable of a grand slam season, but we musnt be greedy and the rollercoaster ride was a real blast, so thank you everyone of you. HAPPY HOCKEY DAYS.

Great start. I remember being excited by his original signing but hesitant about the number of games he had played in the last few seasons, but fair play hasn't missed a game for the Devils since signing and playing with injuries towards the end of the season.

2 more seasons means he'll be 35 at the end of the contract.

If he's back but no disrespect to Joey chuck him on the 3rd line without any distractions of captaincy and let him play his free game in prob his last season, going forward a new capt is a must,..... just saying
Completely disagree, if Joey doesn’t retire he should keep the C. The guy is 37 years old (38 in July) and still put up 53 points in 58 games.

We all know what Joey is all about, leading by example, giving 200 % every game, over a point a game for 10 seasons, the goat, this guy could have been born in Cardiff he plays for the shirt, he plays for the club, he plays for me,he plays for you, this guy bleeds red, he is a bloody one off and we love him for it. No one else should wear the C when Captain Fantastic is on the ice, we won’t ever see his like again when Joey calls it a day. 40 yrs I have watched us play, my goat for 30 odd years was the mercurial Mr Doug McEwen no one could hold a candle to Doug, until a certain Mr Martin appeared on the scene, now I don’t have a goat, I have goats the two greatest players to ever wear the hallowed Devils shirt. And believe me these guys are the two greatest players to ever Grace the ice in Cardiff. Different era,s different times but United in their love, passion, and dedication to the greatest hockey club ever in the UK. HAPPY HOCKEY DAYS

Shoddy as usual Big fan :)

What about his average and peak heartbeat during a game? And how much did he sweat on average during each period?
