Devils invite the Clan to the Bay on Sunday. We'll have the luxury of no travel so hopefully no bus legs for our second game. Clan will be on their third game of the week, as they play the Storm Wednesday night.

Looks like clan gave flames a run for their money, need to get an early goal from the off settle down and get another win . 5.. 2 to devils , need the new forwards to step up as well , their play is great tbh but can't get the puck in net .

It was like watching a repeat of last night.
Brandt was willing to go at one point but other than that, zero physicality from both teams.

A win is a win and a 4 point weekend so can’t complain

Can't fault the effort, the drive or the chances...but our games are going to continue to be low scoring if they can't convert more of the opportunities they have. And we are going to encounter some teams very soon who like scoring goals!

A huge shout out to Joey Martin who seemed to be on the ice for every shift, doing everything everywhere. A perfect demonstration of why he is our captain, and the face of our organisation.
Some other strong energetic performances from players, and Christian Stoever confident and solid as usual.

Are we playing with load of little injuries. We dont seem to finishing hits at the moment.
Say that neither did clan really
Think you’re spot on with that one, both games pretty drab but understandable plus on a positive note it’s 4 points in the bag. Same again next weekend please guys 4 points that is.

These niggling injuries fans are saying is quite worrying , if players are ducking and diving to avoid further injury thats not good , rather than them playing to full 100% there's more chances of increasing injuries, pre season needs to be cut tbh 7 games we had , 4 is ample like most clubs , its not as if we had 15 new players to get them ready for the season , but with the core of players we had back did we really need 7 pre season games, hopefully these players have recovered by next weekend especially v belfast as we need a win with that one and need 100% commitment instead of pulling out of hits and hitting . Just saying.

In the league, our team needs to be winning the home games, at least, to finish in a good position. Away game results are always a bit of a lottery but hopefully they can find some consistency.

Several teams are playing with injuries at the moment - Aaron Fox says Sheffield are pretty banged up right now (they had 4 pre-season games).

Glasgow (5 pre-season games), Belfast (4 pre-season games), Coventry (4 pre-season games) and Guildford (5 pre-season games) have all already had quite a number of players miss games to injury. And we play heavy a lot of the time so are going to pick up knocks along the way, as we did last season. I think we only picked up Duggan's injury in pre-season and I cannot find a correlation statistically between the length of pre-season and the number of injuries (in terms of games missed) teams have had this season or last.

Neil Francis confirmed on the latest Devils debrief that Mieho has been playing injured although this weekend seems to have overcome that.
