I thought our possession / passing was superb tonight.
Probably the best I've seen it in 2 or 3 seasons.
Has Thommo got it right or did Dundee make us look good ?

i thought Dundee played an ok game in fairness so i think Thommo did good. Tonight will be different game i suspect in terms of how Dundee come out playing

because it an forum with debates. You noticed how many of the new logo jerseys are now so called game worn. used to be rare to see a game worn jersey, They are pushing them out like hot cakes. It an marketing tactic to push out the older logo. But if you look it the shop, most merch don`t have the new logo on it.

I think most sports teams have a bigger offering of ‘street wear’ now as it’s more likely to be worn out and about therefore more likely to be bought. Don’t think it’s anything to do with what logo is on it.

Hats off to the Devils org for a good retro night. The shirts, the music, the intro, even the old Wembley Goal Horn. Never tired of hearing that on Granstand, even if Des Lynham always hated it.

Does anyone know if Bristol are in the playoffs or fighting for the league as I can't get my head around why Bailey isn't featuring in these games against the Stars? Is he injured? Obviously, he could play tonight but even so, I can't think of a better series of games for him to be a part of. A line with him, Cap and Davies would be good to see. How does he make that step from part time Devil, to full time Devil when he's been less than a bit part this year. I assumed we'd see more of him, especially given the underperformance of some of this current squad.

Bristol are done and can’t make playoffs so I’d imagine he’ll be with the Devils for the rest of the season?

At the start of the season thommo suggested he will give harewood 20 games to prove his worth, he's played 14, and later in the season thommo said that harewood will be a full time devil next season if thommo is coach so he has seen what harewood can do and is happy to give him a contract, thats if the hierarchy agree that is .

Wonder what the reason the club are not selling the retro shirts, best we've had for a few seasons, maybe it's the logo, who knows.. loved the old music, that intro needs to come back for the 40th anniversary year, and the goal scored .. music reminds me of Wembley playoffs .

Probably because they never sell special jerseys? They either auction them off or do a full shirt of his back.

The 2nd logo was owned by Shannon separately to the club under previous owners. But when Team Calgary bought the club they also bought the logo rights off Shannon?

Rare to see a game worn jersey? Not in Cardiff it isn’t. I’d argue that around half the jerseys worn on a match night are game worn. 2 game worns per home game. Plus whole team 3 or 4 times a year. That’s around 150-200 a season. And we started doing it in the WNIR when (IIRC Mike Ackland suggested it to Bob). There’s probably a couple of thousand game worn jerseys out there.

And the last time I went into the club shop prett much every item had the new logo on it. The two t-shirts I bought both did. As did the two hoodies might wife recently bought.

Yes you’re right I do remember them selling the Pride jerseys. I stand corrected.

I should be an actor, pretending since day 1, i said they USED to be rare see gamers, now most new logo jerseys are gamers/game spec but people are told they are gamers.

Different format, smaller, simpler. Makes it easier to reproduce on merchandise and social media.
