Locked until opponents known :)

Devils won 3-1 against the Clan, Steelers won 4-0 6-0 against the Storm...

Hopefully @BigFan has some stats available for games against the Steelers, but it should be a good game whatever the case!

All the talk is greenfield record shutout he been shit most of season thats why ended 4th , come on boys a 5...1 win will shut the traffic cones up. We can do this take the pressure they will put to us and when they get tired in the 3rd period hit them hard

They’ll need to play the Devils way. Serious lack of physicality yesterday. Especially with the refs not calling anything, now is the time to ramp it up. Steelers have more skill and speed than us. We won’t beat them at that game.
Has to be said it was some achievement for Manchester to get to the semi but they were woeful and out of their depth. Poor showing from them.

I’m not sure Steelers have more skill than us, they used to but we are a far better skilled team now. However I agree with ramping up the physicality but sensibly, we need to obviously play our A game and hopefully our Dr Jekyll team will be on the ice and play as they can. Steelers had a walk in the park yesterday and Storm let their fans down badly, think the vast majority of fans will be behind us and this is our chance to finish the season on a high note. It’s been a far better season for entertainment watching a team that really are capable of beating anyone, and I have a sneaky feeling next season will be a good one, so come on lads let’s do this for each other, for our amazing fans, and for our club. 60 minutes of all you got boys let’s raise both the roof and the cup you can do this.

I would agree with this, know what you’re good at, and double down on it, and to be fair we’ve done that pretty well for most of the season as a second placed finish on a lower budget suggests, Can we do it one last time today

Couldn’t agree more - if we try to outplay and out skill the Steelers they’ll have our number. But… if we can rough them up, hit hard, check hard pressure them we can bully them and come up trumps. There needs to be a serious step change in physicality from yesterday’s game though, and more like that home game against Coventry last weekend. Don’t sit back and admire the Steelers, tget right into them and bring it home.

Absolutely, that’s what got us here! Aggressive forecheck, in your face attack, chirping and toughness. Doesn’t have to be fighting and def not taking silly penalties, just massively aggressive and chip on our shoulder that we ain’t losing to this lot!

Trembley is fit to play for Sheffield, we need to target his injury in a nice way of course , then get a reaction from heard hopefully then his red mist will get him into trouble guaranteed.

Clan beat storm 3...2. Close game for a change , usually 10....8. Or 11. .3 think that was the score we lost to blaze in that non event of a game few yrs ago

I’ve made a few fortunes on the 3rd/4th place game - bookies don’t realise it’s a worthless waste of time and those teams are usually up until 3am getting hammered (excluding us once when Lordo was so furious we lost in the semis to Blaze that it was a no drinking evening). Couple this with normally they play reaerve Nettie’s and it’s a goal fest - not sure what happenned today though, perhaps it was an early night for all concerned last night.

Onto the final - biggest pressure is on Steelers to win this one and Fox will be feeling it for sure. Bit of a free hit for us with Thommo only in Situ for 1 season. Not sure which way it’s going to go though.

Set the tone early, get one goal at least first period.

Wouldn’t say no to a tilt to set the tone also…

Helgeson vs Dowd or Yaremko vs Heard.
