Our British players really stepped up. It's great to see them all playing well, integrated on lines and building chemistry with different players.
Our new coach is giving them every opportunity to flourish, rather than shortening the bench in favour of experienced players. Jarrod is not afraid to put our young guys in challenging situations (pk unit 2 is all British players!). Best way to learn and improve.

The question is; who would you drop for Harewood? Assuming Sandford is back from his illness soon, there’s no free spot on the bench.

Personally I’d rather of seen Harewood get a bigger chance instead of signing Valdix. Tricky for Skalde & Todd though as it’s a results based business.
Which would be fine as long as McNally was out, as soon as he is back Harewood would be unable to be on the bench. He is also signed with the Bees first and foremost and is only meant to be with us when they haven’t got a game.

There is also an argument that could be made for that he is probably better off playing first line minutes and situations with the Bees than 4th line with us (which this season is less than ever). He isn’t going to develop his offensive skills on the fourth line, which IMO was the downfall of Chris Jones a number or years ago.
