Ok, so who wants to pay £4.50 for a pint or £10 for a burger when watching the Devils! Nobody right!
And ... nobody feels cool smuggling food and drink into the rink either!
Kingmo19 enterprises identified this pending issue last season and took appropriate action in advance.
During the summer you might have heard some drilling and banging around the rink to put things in place! After a considerable amount of work, construction is now complete and we’re open - bang on schedule for the start of the season!
So hey, don’t get stiched up, grab your food and drink at Kingmo’s Bar and Restaurant this Sunday.
How to get to Kingmo’s:-
(Keep this quiet) ..... just go into any disabled toilet in the rink and lift the floor panel, walk down the steps and you’ll be greeted by one of our welcoming staff. They’ll take your coat and give you a free complimentary drink while you settle in.
Alternatively, enter the standard rink lift and press floor 1 then 0 then 1 then 0 then 1 then 0 and you’ll come down the Kingmo’s via the lift!
The Michelin Star restaurant can seat 600 people and no main course costs more than £10. Complementary bottle of Moët at each table for the first 6 months.
Craft beer at the bar is £1.50 a pint and every 4th drink is free.
Pre-game entertainment - we’ve got a Q&A with MC and Mo for the oldies plus Big Mac will be offering £500 for anyone who can beat him in an arm wrestle. On our own Pad, you can also shoot and try to beat Marc Andre Fluery who we’ve flown over exclusively for the opening weekend. The Manics and the Phonics will also be playing live before and after the game.
For those of you enjoying yourself too much to return to your arena seats, why not watch the game from below the ice - we’ve removed the floor beneath the ice and replaced it with a focal vision glass panel so you can see the full game in reverse perspective whilst sipping Champaign.
We’re currenlty putting the finishing touches into our Player View Mode (only available in the Kingmo technical zone). You select a player then see the game through his eyes! You live the highs and lows of the game as a player.
Post game you can also take advantage of Kingmo’s travel service who will transport you home or into town for free!
At present, we can only accommodate 600 in the restaurant and 2,200 in the bar and technical zone so I’m afraid it’s first come first served initially until we launch the membership scheme next month.
