Fournier never fought this season, like most of our team hasnt fought this season. UNFORTUNATELY

But 9 players have fought with 8 of those more than once and and totalling about 30 fights. I would say we have fought more than most teams to be honest so good on the lads.

Yes I would put money on the fact we probably have the most fights this season

You're spot on - Cardiff have had the most fighting penalties this season. Including pre-season games Cardiff have had 30 fights.

In combined League and Challenge Cup (no pre-season), the figures for different teams are:

1). Cardiff = 26
2). Fife = 17
3). Dundee = 13
4=). Guildford = 12
4=). Manchester = 12
6=). Belfast = 8
6=). Glasgow = 8
8). Coventry = 7
9). Sheffield = 6
10). Nottingham = 5

And for roughing minors, the list is as follows (league and cup):

1). Cardiff = 44
2). Coventry = 40
3). Guildford = 38
4). Fife = 33
5=). Manchester = 32
5=). Nottingham = 32
7). Sheffield = 28
8). Dundee = 19
9). Belfast = 16
10). Glasgow = 17

Sorry to bring up an old threat, but I'm quite shocked with Brandt being at the top (may have since changed since Feb 2026). I feel like he hasn't dropped the gloves at all this season whilst focusing on other areas (and doing a great job at doing so!).

So we ended the season with 34 fights that’s 1 on 1 fights, 19 at home, 15 away.
BRANDT X 7
HELGESON X 7
OLIGNY X 4
LACROIX X 4
CAPONI X 3
YAREMKO X 3
FERGUSON X 3
BARROW X 2
BOWNS X 1

Think that’s probably the highest in the league, we certainly had the toughest team with 9 guys dropping the gloves.

Well folks we at long last had one wicked season, this season in fairness has been a blast most fights, probably most hits, goals galore, a defence to be proud of, net minding superb from 2 awesome netminders. A proper superb coach who hides from nothing, confident in his own ability and rightly so, and a team like our Superleague champions that would go thru a brick wall for each other. The best owners without a shadow of a doubt in the league, and a fan base that really is something to behold, put all these things together and is it any wonder that a building ringing with so much positivity could reek of success. Everyone connected with this great club so needed a season like this past season, and boy did the lads produce we witnessed a team that was capable of a grand slam season, a team on its day that was on another planet and boy did we all enjoy the ride. Have a great summer all, that was one untrue season and a pure blast. HAPPY HOCKEY DAYS.
