Gillies flies home after quitting Sheffield Steelers
NATHAN GILLIES today quit Sheffield Steelers but said: "I have nothing but good things to say about the organisation - and I may be back next year."
The right winger, returning from long-term elbow injury, had been offered options by coach Dave Matsos: a position as assistant coach, stay as a spare import to be called on in emergency, or a move to Cardiff Devils.
