just a quicky!
if you take a look at the sky coverage of last weeks home game v braehead,check out what Bannister says to the ref after voths incident with Bruce.my subject matter gives it away a bit!! i thought it was only footballers who want and look to get opponents sent off. shame.gav

Unfortunately as we saw last season with the Neil Clarke incident this sort of thing is becoming more prominent in our league. I'm not saying Bruce wasn't injured and Voth was inocent but let the ref make his own decision, besides Bruce skated not long after so it wasn't that bad.

One thing that attracted me to hockey in the 1st place was that it was a hard game played by (mostly) hard men. There were no prima donna's as in football and things were generally sorted out on the ice. I really hope it doesn't go the way of football with players play acting, trying to get penalties against other players and calling for bans etc.
