Yeah I’m sure we’re all desperate for Sheffield fans to be wrong about O’Connor but he doesn’t look great positionally. I’m not just basing this on tonight, we’re playing a much better team than us tonight so it’s unfair to judge him just on this game. There have been a few matches already though we’re I’ve felt a bit sorry for Mikkelson out there.
Sometimes you just want him to get the basics right and make a simple play rather than a fancy move. I appreciate he’s an offensive Dman but there’s a time and a place for risky plays

Early days yet but that period didn’t feel as one sided as the game in Mannheim, although 2 shots on goal tells a story.
I'll probably get slated again but DuPont has to make the goalie work on that breakaway, chances like that are going to be rare tonight. O'Connor caught on the rush for the first goal and a poor giveaway from him for the second. But being realistic, I was expecting worse after the first period!
