We lost one of our own the other day. Some of you will know Mark from the rink and know what a lovely, genuine person he was. I stood next to Mark in the tent and have sat next to him at the arena so he’s been my hockey companion for almost 20 years and match nights won’t be the same.

I didn’t believe it when I had a message off his friend.

They were sorting the triple header as a surprise for his birthday.

Gutted is an understatement. A great bloke and never a dull moment with him, always laughing and enjoying life.
