Yaremko is going to be out longer than expected, so they bring in an experienced EIHL forward. Good move by the Devils

Can't fault it. Fans have been speculating and the Club has acted upon the injury situation.
Ferguson is experienced in the EIHL...always an advantage.

Wow thats a great move. Ferguson racked up 67 points in 53 games just 3 seasons ago. Although his points tally dropped the next 2 seasons they were still respectable.
I think he will fit well in this team. I would love to see him Martin and Sanford on a line.

Struggling to think of a player I’ve disliked more in recent years. Which is usually a good sign.

I doubt we’ll get the points machine he was a number of years ago and he did IIRC have a bit of a habit of taking silly penalties last year, but he looks an ideal replacement for Yaremko whilst he’s injured. To get someone with EIHL experience that quickly is great work from the club.

Always rated Ferguson, disliked him intensely when he played against us. Looking forward to seeing him in a Devils jersey, could be an excellent signing at this stage of the season.

It looks like he had retired as he was playing in a provincial amateur league. (Basically rec hockey with a mix of retired pros, ex college hockey players and rec players all playing for the love of the game rather than money). But it looks like he is going to give pro hockey another year. Looking forward to seeing him in a Devils kit.

When you really dislike a player, it’s usually because you would take him in an instant. He will fit in good with us I reckon, as you say be good to see him in a Devils jersey and looking forward to seeing him myself. Bloody wicked signing, what a club. VERY HAPPY HOCKEY DAYS.

this is the sort of signing to make when you’re down a few bodies. Proven in the EIHL, and is a Thommo player to a tee. Very happy with this

I remember answering a question posted on here a while ago about who you would sign from another team and it was always a toss up between Ferguson and Locke from the Flames for me. I bloody love this signing. What a pain in the ass he is to play against. Fits our mould brilliantly. Finishes every check and is annoying as hell.

And what about this ownership group?? We really couldn’t ask for anymore

Ideal replacement for lacroix same type of player and a nuisance in front of net . At least brandt can carry on the good player as he is at the moment rather than scrap and increase injuries he's had last 15 months or so.
