Player arrival in uk

Any idea's when the players start to arrive in the uk, also it looks like we will have a full roster for the start of the season if last 2 players can be signed. we havent had that for the last couple yrs

No, they never come back in, until the end of August, usually in the week of the pre-season games, which will be around 25th August, with the games on 29th and 30th against Coventry.

Thats cutting it fine....wont they have a get together for a few sessions on the ice to see how they play as a team :shock: :? Do they come off the plane with their skates on :lol: What about the season ticket holders !! I thought we get to meet the team and pick up our tickets before any games!! They have got to come back a bit sooner than a week before the first game surely !!

Many of them are already here - the British guys, Wes, Mike, Max and G. Expect they are probably already training and skating together. The Vother and Jay could probably return earlier because their permits/paperwork is ongoing from last year. Hopefully all the paperwork and infrastructure will be in place for the 4 import signings (Mark, Scott + 2) to arrive at the same time.

When i spoke to Wes a few weeks ago he said that both he and Mike were still at Uni and he was returning home July and August so i would have thought it would be more the end of August than beginning.

G flew out on Wednesday, Mike is on hols for a few weeks, they have left Brent to do the Play the Game hockey for a few weeks...Prps is still around bless him, its just if they are in the country they normally help out with the hockey training sessions, but they've flown the coup for a few weeks....well so it seems.
