I’ve heard Logan Neilson to Cardiff from more than 1 person this weekend. Would make sense given he’s one of the premium young Brits out there, and Thommo has a reputation for creating British stars

Apparently his attitude isn’t great, but if both are true I’m sure Thommo wouldn't take any nonsense if we did sign him

Rumours.
Bownsy to stay 1 more yr then retire but may go now as not playing much i think
Joey martin to retire
Richie thinking about retiring
Stoever seems to have established himself as first choice. Either that’s on ability/results, or it could be sensible succession planning by the Devils. He’s young, and it would be shortsighted not to look to the future if Bowns is nearing the end of his career.
Perhaps he stays but in a lesser role next year.

I've heard that Stoever wanted out of the Devils a few months back, wanted his contract torn up so he could go back to NA. Sounded like an issue with playing time and relationships with others in the camp. He's certainly had playing time at the end of the season, so could see him coming back but only as a #1, which would imply Bowns retirement at his testimonial....

Can't see BB singing on for another year as a back up.

Martin and Ritchie are both at the stage of their careers where every summer it will be mooted about retirement. They have both earned the right to hang them up when they choose to. But id be surprised if they did retire out right this summer, and didn't instead go to a assistant coach/player role....

After all can you actually imagine their careers being ended without a goodbye at the Vindico?

Unsubstantiated completely and utterly. What ppl were saying in Nottingham
1. Bowns leaving as doesn't want to be no 2 after Stoever (devastating)
2. Barrow has already signed 26/27 (hope so)
3. Brandt to Guildford or Coventry for a huge salary increase (maybe but I don't think he would)

Anyways that's the rumours I heard in Notts

And Logan Neilson??

I know it’s only rumours but the Stoever one you’d imagine would be misguided. As a first year pro, and from what was said on the podcast, he knew what he was coming over to be and if anything his end of season would have surpassed those expectations. I’d be shocked if true - just looks to me he took his opportunity and he was rode hot.

It came from Yaremko's turn on the podcast. He alluded to how good the club must be for Olishchefski to have signed a 2-year deal. It wasn't clear whether Yaremko meant a new 2 year deal or whether 2025/26 was year 2 of the deal.

I'm assuming harewood will be a brit signing full time as thommo suggested, which brit would be retiring or not wanted ?
Admittedly I've not been to a huge amount of games this year, but purely on output you'd have to look at Duggan here right? Didn't receive the "A" as in previous years, points output is low - and I would take Davies over him personally. Could see teams in the NIHL making a nice offer for his experience.
