Just hope brandt is back he scored 18 I believe and made up for our shortfall from the forwards that couldn't hit a barn door at 1 stage of the season in many games.

Latest wishful thinking now is Panthers' fans hoping Brandt will join their Team if he leaves the Devils. Fans are so fickle aren't they.......they detested Riley for the past 2 seasons, calling him a waste of an import!

I think the age and types of player they are fit perfectly.

Too many times we sign 'marquee' forwards who are past their NHL/AHL days who have come here and disappointed.

Yes we get the special few like Linglet, Dixon, Oligny but I think going faster and younger for a top line is the way forward.

If Sanford does indeed go, Guildford will be a big offensive threat next season.
I hope he stays, but if he does go, I wish him all the best. He has been a goal machine for us over the years!

With Mieho and Caron as new additions, both power forwards, we can assume that Lacroix, Ferguson and probably Caponi won't be back. Sanford rumours about not coming back seem to be strong too. I think Brandt will be.

I also think there will be one more new player, probably the one Steve King mentioned that Thommo got over the line when filming. So that means one of MacDonald, Kontos or Sanford to return.

You're probably right. But it's a shame as his offensive game is his main strength, and he'll have limited opportunities to show it on the 4th. I also think he will benefit from playing with more offensive players on the 3rd.
But if Brandt is back, he did his time on the 4th for years before having a chance to show his offensive game so he probably deserves a start there.
