One things for sure, Thommo and Kelman will know if we are short or not and if we are it will be addressed. If Yaremko plays as he can for the whole season, and Welsh performs then that’s one thing then there’s how good will Caron and Mieho be, time will tell. Then of course it’s how the others have strengthened and how mean our defence can be.

So with one player still to be announced, I’m guessing our lineups will START like this:

MacDonald - Martin - Olischefski
Yaremko - Kontos - Barrow
Caron - Miwho - ( Brandt)
Harewood/Duggan/Davies/Sacratini.

I think we’ll start with familiarity but I expect them to change a lot over the season.

Kontos assisted on 7 out of Brandt’s 18 league goals when they were together on a line so wouldn‘t be surprised to see them back together as I think Kontos needs a goal scorer with him as an outlet (Sanford and Brandt both came alive when paired with Kontos last season), and Brandt offers that. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Mieho and/or Caron on our first line.

Brandt scored 18 leagues goals last year, predominantly from 3rd and 4th line. I'd be interested to see how his goals per 60 mins on ice compared to the other main scorers. Over to you BigFan.

I don’t think it matters what order players are announced, it’s more about what players we have signed. The buzz comes by the name, not the order they are announced in.

I think with every other player this rings true. But I’ve no doubt they’re milking out the Brandt signing. Every media post engagement is full of fans asking for him.
