How did the evening go last night?
It went very well. Lots of laughs and unrepeatable stories. Scott and the guys were on good form. Lots of money raised by the raffle and auction of a couple of very nice items.

Did i hear right at the end of the game. Did Franny say we had raised between £35k-40k? If that is right well done to everybody that has contributed (wheres the clappy smilee when you want one):)
Exactly what he said. Im not sure how that equates in terms of what scott needs but it felt such a big achievement for a small group like ours.

The courage and dignity of Scott, Catie and their beautiful children is truly remarkable and inspirational. No-one could fail to be moved tonight. It was a priveledge to be there. Much love in the building tonight. A special Family.

The Club did them proud tonight- Todd,Franny,Sully, the players and off-ice team. A magnificent display of organisation, solidarity and respect.

And Scott played for a special team. Many of those guys are retired from hockey now, but omg, they STILL have got IT. Although a non-competitive game, the chemistry and skill between those 2010-11 Record Holders was right there.

Happy Days, happy memories transported back to that unforgettable season. It is going to take a very, very good Devils' team to ever be as special as that.
