Todd Kelman has a done a video on season ticket price increases.

New Gold ST price: £784. £114 increase

New Silver ST price: £728. I'm guessing this is a £120 increase. Can anyone confirm?

New Bronze ST price: £672. I'm guessing this is a £96 increase, can anyone confirm?

Just watched the video by Todd, the fact he made that shows they know it wrong personally. But they won`t care because the families and drunks on the weekend will pay it. To say it affordable for a family is beyond a joke, 2 adults, 2 children tickets alone £100 plus food, parking(bet that goes to £10), drinks ect which all go up next year. Looking at £150 for one night out, and to compare it with bowling or cinema is a joke(going Harrods for bowling?). Wish i could afford that when my kids were younger or the £150 plus Hugo boss top he had on.

Now an facility fee for the upkeep of the building, guessing food and drink will now come down in price, surely that what that money for, improve the food with less junk and you see sales increase.

Gold £670 - £884 Increase of £114
Silver £608 to £728 increase of £120
Bronze £576-£672 Increase of £96

So average the 3, that increase of £110, x1600 season ticket holders and that an extra £176k!

Season ticket revenue alone, if we average the 3 x 1600 is now £1.2m

Silver seats being done over the most

Match day ticket is £31 gold, £28 silver and £26 for bronze.

I get price increases but inflation is around 3.5 %, silver season ticket just went up by 20%!. Bit naughty, if that is not taking advantage of loyal devils fan.

These demands for tickets don`t last forever, but hardcore hockey supporters do and i feel like you are pushing us away.

By my maths a gold seat has gone up by 17%. In fact if you buy a bronze ST next year you're basically paying the same price as a Gold seat right now.

The only thing I can think of here is the 3100 seat capacity of the rink has now become a financial straightjacket & the only way the organisation can compete with the big arena teams is now through hefty ticket price increases. But 17% that's not something the organisation can do year in, year out.

That’s the hard part for me - the ownership group and Todd will always say we’ve got intention be be competitive and challenge but we haven’t seen much of that for the last few years despite match night costs (tickets, merch, 50-50, SOHB etc) rising.

I’ve done my bit by putting my hands in my pockets, supported raffles etc and while I still enjoy match night and probably renew you could argue the club hasn’t delivered on their side.

Its a tough league. Have the Devils underperformed in recent years? Or were we punching above our weight in previous seasons? Is just the reality of a 3100 seat team competing with the financial clout of rival clubs that can pull in double sometimes triple the number of fans?

We are definitely punching above our weight this season. We are currently 2nd in the standings with the 5th/6th biggest budget in the league

In the time we’ve been in the bay the capacity and low running costs per match night have been a benefit when it’s suited and now they are a hindrance and the reason we aren’t regularly winning silverware.

We’ve gone from being told Belfast, Steelers and Panthers have huge match night costs and big capacity is a mixed blessing to it being the only way you can win.

I get the economics of it but I’d imagine some are pouring from an empty cup and can’t afford increases but someone else will come along behind them and buys the seats.

I think the increases are a bit disproportionate across the bandings and being a Devils regular has gone from representing good value to now not.

I’ll moan about it but still renew my four but I’d like to get something more than no booking fees, several webcasts and a few pound off a SnapBack from the happy soul in the shop.

Silver £120 extra next season

Silver disabled £132 extra next season

I dunno how they mathed this but it doesn't makes sense to me charging disabled people more
my silver senior up 130.00 is now 644.00 plus car parking potential 200.00 on top, I would rather lose my webcast offer and have free car parking, or even half price car park for season tkt holders only, just saying

that the issue now, Todd knows he will fill the seats and don`t give a shit. He wants the `newer` fan base because they spend more
Yep. No value add from the old crew walking around in shirts from the 80s - 90s.

Newer fan base spending over and above the ticket price on the extras is where it’s at.

I commend them for making it the hottest ticket in town especially with the way other sport in wales isn’t thriving.

Ouch. I was questioning the price last year. Admittedly the entertainment is better this year but that’s a heck of an increase. Problem is it’s get a season ticket or probably stop going altogether
I’m the same times four.

I know I’m not setting alarms for a month out to buy tickets at 9am.

Everything else has gone up in price, electricity, gas, food and beer. Should’ve guessed that the Devils would be putting the ticket prices up too as it is a business at the end of the day !!
