It's the existing structure that makes anything up there difficult! In the perfect world the structure would've been designed in such a way that it allowed for future expansion. Even back when we had less than 1000 fans turning out at the BBT there was a desire for the new rink to cater for a 5000 capacity! Like with tech, nothing is made to last these days.
Caffreys is £6:80 too!!! a lot cheaper elsewhere in Cardiff, can only wonder why its same price as Guinness in the Rink!!! speaking to girl who deals with ordering at rink said they are unable to get Guinness or even the 0% stuff, I think breweries are more concerned getting it to city Centre pubs due to 6 Nations, oh and it is a nice pint even though overpriced in rink
Just seen an article from a Scottish news paper, fife look to be in financial trouble, it’s like I said in my previous post, Fife and Dundee could easily leave this league and earn more profit playing in Snl . Trying to keep up with the joneses isn’t easy for some as the fans can’t always carry the club financially,Edinburgh have left us and crowds are way up on when they couldn’t compete with the big boys in our league. Now here is my question to Todd, you want a shit load of money for our season tickets way before any other team in this league gives out a deadline, can you justify this price hike without us fans know the identity of next years team . are we a fast skilful team, hard working gritty team, a team full of characters , or like this season none of the above. Have you worked out how many season ticket games we’ll get if Fife drop out is now my biggest question. I Todd don’t want to answer this I know Steve king and Katrina both read and post on here, any chance of any of them answering my question. I said last week this league at these prices was getting like Superleague, brilliant hockey back in the day but not sustainable. Hope we don’t lose Fife but the gap between top and bottom teams seems to be growing.
This post says what a ton of people are wondering, and if it has any real creedence and makes sense to pay so early why hasn’t other clubs done the same. Travis points out that this league could quite easily consist of 8 teams next season, that’s 6 less home league games not counting any cup games. We all understand clubs need a picture of how many season tickets are renewing for budget figures, but as we are capping that amount and as we have so many people waiting in the wings then that figure is more than likely already calculated, so why are we leading the pack date wise. I realise we ain’t a Arena club with arena punters but we will never keep up with the joneses,surely the answer is more of a level playing field which 3 clubs won’t agree to, so let the Kings of the Castle bugger off and play each other 18 times or so, and entice Leeds and others to join us. Can the club give their fans a bit of clarity on this subject please, after all aren’t we all supposed to be in this together, are the club still about the fans that turn up every week, are we still the backbone of this club,or is that a thing of the past because loyalty is a two way passage.
