iv got to say, that for a club that say the fans are high in their thoughts , the match day sounds choice from the DJ is abysmal, and has never been updated , and does nothing to add to the game. it does the opposite , the match day atmosphere is bad for the money you pay. who ever is in charge of that needs to get out more . and see what others offered , perhaps watch a darts match .
Get sully back ..

It's like listening to Heart Radio these days, the same 10 songs over and over and over again.

"Everybody clap your hands !" every other stoppage.
Aaaargh !
They might aswell charge it to “Everybody fall asleep” as it’s so boring and REPETITIVE!!!

For Gods sake, somebody in the club realise that it’s boring, repetitive and extremely tedious and lazy on your behalf that you can’t even refresh think done to death playlist! Every game is like Groundhog Day!

2nd period break, Country Roads and the torch waving totally does my head in and it makes me feel like somebody taking me home. Try a bit of building the excitement up going in to the last period. Its just making the players feel like going home FFS

Canucks, £50 quid...even if I had a Fire one in top of that and even a Tigers one too, its still.less than a1/3rd of what the Devils want for 2026/27 for ice hockey every weekend

Less than a 1/3rd!!!

Wow

The music, torches etc make it a "plesent" atmosphere more akin to "jungle gym" or teenage pop concert environment.
We need to re enforce the intimidating atmosphere, a place where the opposition fears the place aka the BBT and WNIR where you can feel the electricity in the crowd from the music etc that then feeds into the players.

With the increase in ST's hopefully we WILL see many on and off ice changes by the management listening to the customer as well as a increase in on ice product.

At the moment it's not as a draw as it once was from a cost on ice and off ice point of view, im not as pumped and excited to go as I once was. I cant honestly encourage newbies to come as I know their expectation will not be met.

I think expectations of newbies are somewhat lower than us old timers.
I know of at least 10 newbies who haven't been discouraged by the latest performances and have been spending quite a bit in the shop too.

1 in 3 STs have already committed so far.

EDIT: That Canucks ST deal looks pretty good mind.

My feeling is we'll be discussing in 10 months time where the justification for this price Increase is.

Do you know what so sad about all this, is the club selling point for existing season ticket holders is not buy a season ticker for XYZ, follow your team ect, it all built on fear, fear you wont see the team you have supported for 30 years. People dont have the choice for dipping out for year because of the fear of not being able get to a game because dont worry, dont renew it fine we have 500 waiting in line. Put that into say a relationship for example, fear of not finding anyone else and your partner keeps telling you that to keep you, that a form of abuse. Makes you think what our club morals stand for.

Their FOMO tactics didn’t work on me, I’m 100% out and will be until the morale compass is reset by this ownership group. Will they do that and do they care? Of course not, it’s just a financial numbers game now for them. A 20% increase during a cost of living crisis is extremely insensitive, but I guess that was completely lost on them! There are many other sports available to watch in South Wales.

It comes down to what value you put on supporting a club that you may have supported since season one or maybe for the last 10 years or even just the last year.
What's a fair price for the product on offer? Are you getting your money's worth now and will you be getting your money's worth next season?
What's a fair price for an evening following the Devil's?
Ice hockey next season will be more expensive than some other sports in South Wales but understandably many people choose not to watch/support other sports in the region and are Ice Hockey specific in their choice of sport.
In anyone's book £2,300 ish for two adults and two under16's for s/t's would seem expensive considering parking, SOHB, 50/50, programme, food, drink etc and not all young families have that much disposable income, alternatively some do.
We all have a choice and I can understand those who will commit again and those that feel they cannot.

Be nice to know who the coach is going to be, thommo my ideal choice with his own team, be nice to have a refresh of forwards and some he's worked with are pretty good rather than keep some of the old guard just seeing this season out, couple new brits be nice as well , thommo already stated if he is coach next season harewood will be full time devil.
