Has anyone actually gone to a meeting and been told they're not welcome? Has anyone gone to the meeting at all? Apologies if so but I haven't seen anyone mention that they have. All this talk of fans being banned for saying things online, has anyone actually been banned? Although I agree it is unusual and unexpected for this to happen at all, the meeting could have been a chance for the club to explain some things and maybe clear the air.
So Mark hasn't actually been banned?
They've just asked him to have a meeting with Todd before renewing?

Are we getting ourselves involved in something pretty minor which is probably private and none of our business?
i dont think it is, it can worry a lot of people on here and social media, if they complain about an performance or don`t agree with price increase, you will have you season ticket taken away. So your season ticket is being used against you to keep you mouth shut

And I wouldnt even waste petrol going to a meeting as I have no interest in what they have to say, I wouldn't go and say yes sir no sir three bags full, so the outcome would be the same. I wouldn't go to any forums and haven't done since the rebrand and have only gone to games, which haven't been enjoyable for the last 3 seasons. I don't need a ST that much to agree with all of their decisions. It's about value for money for the entertainment £s which when you add in car park and fuel it adds up to a tidy amount for a season. The Challenge cup group stages are a total waste of time, they haven't qualified for extra games so there is a loss of income and the fans have been used take up the shortfall.

Well it seems they blocked his account and prevented him from renewing until being trawled in to face the music for having the audacity to post their opinion on a public forum! Banned or not, who knows (?), but that’s not the way to behave is it?

It is quite an amazing development for the club to block someone from renewing their ST because of they posted their concerns about club decisions on a message board. I just cannot see what Jody said that was so controversial to justify that club response which quite frankly looks very petty and pathetic.

Fans like Jody are the lifeblood of the club, investing time, money, and emotional commitment year after year. Just what is so wrong about him raising his concerns about season ticket prices and expressing his opinions? To punish him for voicing his legitimate opinions in a forum designed for discussion is truly pathetic behaviour. It shows that the club only values fans when they remain silent and don'tquestionthe club's decisions.

This is not the club that I have supported since 1989. The Cardiff Devils I have followed for decades always had a strong relationship between the club and the supporters with good communication and discussion on topics affecting the club and the supporters.

The club should welcome discussion, not try to silence it. When loyal supporters begin to feel unwelcome for simply sharing their views, something has gone badly wrong. The front office has clearly decided to sweep out the supporters that they simply don't like anymore but it won't be just those individuals they are pushing out, it will also be their families, young adults, teenagers, children of the supporter being blocked who the club are potentially also alienating. It's just incredible that the front office are acting like this.

Now I gave up my ST 3 years ago and have moved on, spending my time and money at Cardiff City these days, but I still have an emotional connection to the Devils, many years of good times and great memories from the WNIR to the BBT to the Arena so I still follow the results and goings on regularly.
I also remember a lot of bad times, the losses, the previous financial difficulties the club faced, the long wait for the BBT to finally get built while the team played weeks on end on the road, but blocking supporters from renewing their ST's simply for airing their opinions on club direction that someone in the front office with an ego cannot deal with, that is a whole new low point.

So just to confirm, you're not renewing your season ticket because you no longer believe it's value for money?
Not because they've banned you?

If there was one person who I thought would have been happy to have an honest discussion with Todd it would have been you.

Speaking of cardiff city it sounds like the vincent tan way has rubbed off on people within the devils organisation

Honestly - I'm not sure. I don't necessarily agree with it but I can understand the club's view on it.

Jody's been very critical of what the club are doing. And I don't have a problem with fans saying how annoyed/angry/disgusted they are with the price increases.
But some of his comments went above that and were IMO personal attacks on Todd and other club employees.

To claim that Todd is greedy is IMO totally wrong. If I was in his position I'd want to speak to that person and find out why he felt that. Maybe explained to him in detail the reason for the financial decision.

They have had a ten year 'honeymoon' when they have had very little criticism and they can't handle it. I have no reason to answer to him, I am the long term paying customer. I was told by a Belfast fan that he would be good for the club for a few years but once he got his hand in your pockets it would just get worse, and I cannot see the roster getting better with this extra cash as the other teams have upped their prices, so it will be fourth place or lower again, so just be honest about it, The ST price rises are not a magic bullet, the same as the rebrand wasn't going to be

I'd heard the same from Belfast - you'll start by loving him then .....

It's a culmination of all things, I was in two minds anyway, they don't want to take on board any criticism. They just want to try and enIforce compliance with everything they do, wouldn't get a ST now if it was offered.free.
Talking of compliance, the rink is not compliant with Welsh gov Welsh Language act part 2. The Welsh has to be more prominent and before the English
