One thing that must be taken into account is that they will quite likely be playing in the Championship next season (the 5th highest attendances in Europe I believe) so a much better standard of football.
All in all go for the less expensive seats and 11% increase or not it's very good value.
It is good value. A lot comes down to supply & demand and also sponsorship and tv deals bring in a lot more income. Hockey needs to make its majority from ticket sales. When you think most clubs in football are operating at a loss too, whilst we can say it’s cheaper, it certainly isn’t sustainable long term and in hockey terms would eventually mean no more Cardiff Devils.

Renewed mine as its the 40 th anniversary and had 1 since the first season , just hoping this price will be frozen for a season or 2 to keep the older genuine fans that got the club up and running from day 1 not just me 1000s of others that kept this club afloat ..be nice if the club offered season tkt holders with free parking as a thankyou for our commitment to the club the last 39 years . .just saying .

Unlikely and even more unlikely.

The corporate machine reflects on your history without significance, you are just a number. Should you leave, you will be replaced by the next in-line holding the appropriate financial means. Goodbye.

Glasgow's season ticket price average increase for their 2026-27 season tickets is 23% on adults, 25.3% on seniors, 33.2% on teens, 36.7% on children.

A family of two adults and two children (12 and under) price is £2360 for centre ice and £1820 behind the nets.

They've sold out all available tickets (2000) in just over 24 hours.

Bloody hell huge increases, thank ourselves lucky

Not many by the looks
After 35 yrs of attending Devils games (the vast majority as an ST holder) I gave up my ST last season as in my opinion the entertainment value/match night experience did not match the cost.
I know of three other former ST holders (I say former as the season has now finished for STs) who have also supported the Devils since the 80s have called it a day and not renewed.

sadly these are the type of people the club won`t want from revenue side. They want people buying merch, tickets, food, ect and most of the older crowd don`t

That’s for a team that won 24 out of 54 games 19 in reg time, placed 8th in the league with a capacity that holds roughly 1,000 more than us, scored 147 goals and conceded 164 goals. But in fairness to them have made the final 4 in Nottingham. Like Kingmo said it depends on the base price. As for entertainment which is the number one priority on my list, this season has been the best for many years, and the off season this season will be too long unfortunatley.

This season was far better entertainment wise in fairness, after as you say a few seasons of boring hockey but I understand some have given up the ghost as some every year do. But 2nd in the league, toughest team in the league, play off finalists, joint 1st for goals conceeded along with the league winners, 3rd best for goals scored has been a huge improvement. But as you say it’s now not for everyone but this season has been in my opinion a breath of fresh air, and hopefully that will continue and good people like yourself continue with your opinions on this awesome forum.

Couldn’t get any worse than Pete Russell hockey. A much needed change and far more entertaining
