Couldn’t get any worse than Pete Russell hockey. A much needed change and far more entertaining
Thankfully the Pete Russell days are now history, god were we boring or what. But thankfully we now have the right person in this position, a man that knows this league inside out, know what the Devils and fans are all about, a real winner a guy that shoots from the hip, a professional who has only been here for 1 season but what a turnaround he has installed in this club, and he has only just started, again hats off to the club, we had a big problem and again they sorted it. This is the 1st time in too many seasons that I can’t wait for season 26/27 to kick off, although rumour time is always pretty neat, so our future looks better than it’s been for awhile. So hopefully it’s a good weekend for me, for you, and for the club let’s go lads.

That’s for a team that won 24 out of 54 games 19 in reg time, placed 8th in the league with a capacity that holds roughly 1,000 more than us, scored 147 goals and conceded 164 goals. But in fairness to them have made the final 4 in Nottingham. Like Kingmo said it depends on the base price. As for entertainment which is the number one priority on my list, this season has been the best for many years, and the off season this season will be too long unfortunatley.
Entertainment is so important and in my opinion more important than desperately trying to win trophies against organisations with more financial clout due to larger facilities. This season we excelled ourselves in finishing 2nd and well done to all the players and coaches.
I think you personally definitely felt the emotion every game be it feelings of ecstacy of an amazing performance or the total disappointment of a lackluster display and a humiliating defeat . I love reading your posts for the total meltdowns you have plus the proclamation of greatness you bestow upon this "Jeckyl and Hyde team :D.

Anyone know if all the season tkts are sold inc. newbies and renewals, can't see them for sale to newbies.
People have been asking this a lot on the Devils fan forum Facebook page and the general message is that no new STs will be available for sale and apparently, there was a waiting list which too, has also closed. Several people saying the same thing based off telephone calls / emails to the club.

That’s very kind of you, and thank you for that, I do as you say get my head up my rear when we helped to beat our self, and I also get real excited when we play as we can. We most certainly had 2 teams Dr Jekyll who was awesome, and Mr Hyde who was bloody lousy. Anyway what a season and let’s hope for a wicked 2026/27, enjoy the summer folks.

Ok thanks for the reply, thought it may have been mentioned by the club if they were sold out like clan did just after qualifying for nottingham

We still ain’t comparing the devils to a premier league football team are we ,or heaven forbid the greatest team we have ever seen ,Cardiff city
Not a comparison, just an observation as to how another team has dealt with ST price increases and maybe something we could learn from going forward?

With Manchester moving, I believe they have every chance to reach the attendance size of Nottingham in 3 years and giants and Sheffield in 5 years. They used to have big crowds, and we are in a situation where the sport has never been so popular as now. its in their hands, and good luck to them, also Dublin 6000+ seater, that's a hell of a lot more people for sponsors.

It was only a couple of years ago when the increase in Sky Sports money meant that clubs could have given all their season ticket holders a free season ticket - and they'd still be better off financially.

Comparing us to Premier League football clubs is ridiculous.
It was an observation around inflationary raises not a comparison!

Something is not automatically a comparison just by being posted and one might look incredibly stupid for assuming so.

So when you said "Maybe one for the club to consider" - who exactly were you talking about?
It certainly looks like you were comparing the response by Liverpool to the response by the Devils?

Consider inflationary ST price raises rather than the erratic approach we currently have.
