I was thinking more of the slash on Randy Degenais. I think he got something like a 12 game ban for that - the incident vs Coventry above was far worse! The Tait hit was bad though to be fair!

Not sure this was the one or not.... have a feeling that it was a different one although to be fair, this was a touch aggressive:

That’s the one. 6 games for that slash was very harsh, as was 6 for the punch. They controlled the league back then though, still trying to now!
