The forward lines have been shuffled slightly again, as expected when players are injured or sitting out. Are the players getting any lengthy opportunity to find the right chemistry?
I am honestly struggling to see the contribution of one or two players after 6 weeks. These guys are experienced and should be able to score goals. What role have they been given?
The stats suggest our special teams are not producing on pp and pk. This is historical over recent seasons...why? Are the line combinations taking too long to find chemistry? Are the systems wrong or players not executing them? That's the coach's headache.
This is not an Andrew Lord team. Post COVID the Club is stabilising and organically trying to grow. But they have not achieved the dizzy heights of the pre-COVID tenure. We could say that we probably know why that is, but it's not our dilemma to solve.
Earlier this season there was a discussion on here about people's expectations. Think many fans were right. Keep expectations realistic and we can handle the disappointments. Any positives will then be a bonus.
As usual, our amazing Captain raising the game.
