For fear of being labelled a party pooper, these new jerseys are nowhere near as classy as the 30 years jersey of 10 years ago. This new design is far too fussy and busy. Those 30 years jerseys screamed our Anniversary and was all Cardiff Devils. Minimalist, understated and effective.

The new jerseys have way too much advertising. No real reference to 40th anniversary on front of Jersey. Castle Dairies logo font is as big as Devils logo. It's one of our retro designs from Devils' 1990/ early 2000s unfortunately being swallowed up by too much going on. Too much on there fighting for attention...the advertising, the retro design, the new sponsor.
They look like the sort of tops speedway fans or basketball fans or darts fans wear.

The die hards will buy this edition for their collection. The newbies will buy them because they think they have to buy all things Devils if you really are a true fan. .....the Club will sell tons of these .:p;)

I wonder if the Season Ticket Holder Exclusive jersey will be exclusive to Season Ticket Holders this season, or whether anybody can get one via SOHB etc

Agreed. The green one is ghastly. As with previous years, it just feels like very little thought has gone into creating a cohesive design that complements both the sponsors (which I know are necessary) and the Devils logo itself. It comes across as incredibly template-driven; add a few stock flames at the bottom, tweak the colours, and call it finished.

You'll never please everyone, and as ASHIPP pointed out - they will sell a shed load and consider them a success. For every fan who isn't a fan of the jerseys there will be someone who wants one, or more.
