UK Forum All-Star Weekend - It’s Back and in Basingstoke

The UK Forum All -Star returns this summer for a weekend celebration of hockey and friendship.

Last summer, the UKF All-Star weekend in Sheffield raised £3600 for ‘Dreams Come True’ . This year, the second annual All Star weekend will be even bigger and better.

We are hitting Basingstoke on the weekend of 25/26th July to have some more fun and raise money for charity.

Committed to making this year even bigger and better than last year, we are delighted to announce that this year two charities will be benefiting from the fun:

Dreams Come True - A charity close to the hearts of a lot of last year’s players and a truly great cause. Dreams Come True have a mission to fulfill the most treasured dreams of terminally and seriously ill children and we look forward to being able to help them for the second year running.

Breast Cancer Care – This year we are aiming to double our charitable giving and help a second charity worthy of substantial support. Breast Cancer Care is a charity that is committed to providing the best treatment, information and support to all those suffering from breast cancer and we look forward to supporting the great work that they do.

In recognition of the importance this weekend to raising money for these charities, this years main match will be between:

Dreams Come True All Stars & Breast Cancer Care All Stars.

Initial plans are being drawn up and subject to change the weekend format will be:
Friday 24th July 20.00 Charity Quiz Night

Saturday 25th July PM Charity BBQ
16.30 Charity Game at Planet Ice
20.00 Auction night and karaoke evening Hosted by Rhythm and guests

Sunday 26th July 16:30 The first ever “Skate for Life”

The guest Include Kipper so you can add Star Performance to that part and Myself so you can add comedy night to that part!!!

Last year was a great Weekend in Sheffield (even if I did not get back in one piece!) and the users of the inferno did us proud and contributed over £200.

Last years cheque was presented on the ice at the last Sheff -Devils game and hopefully we can smash that figure when we do the next presentation in Cardiff!!!!
