I’ve just heard a rumour that Voth WILL play this evening/weekend as a formal appeal to Voth’s suspension has been submitted on time. I hope what I have heard is true. Be great for the fans to support Voth and the boys against Hull this evening.

If the club has paid the £2k, then surely Brad can play?!?!

Surely that would be the only fair way of doing things.......probably not then. :(

Good to see G fight back in the walesonline video. Well spoken, balanced comments without sounding like were ranting. Just what we need! Usually keeping quiet would be the best approach, but seeing as the league has pimped itself and shown everyone it seems the tape, then why not put our side of the story forward!

OUR CAPTAIN TO PLAY TONITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GET IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BRAD Voth has been given the go-ahead to play for Cardiff Devils this weekend.
Captain Voth will be in the Devils' line-up against Hull Stingrays at home tonight (7pm) and away to Coventry Blaze tomorrow.
Elite League officials have slapped a 12-match suspension on Voth, but Cardiff owner Matt Burge has paid a £2,000 bond to the disciplinary panel for an appeal to be heard next week.
As a result, Voth is able to play in both matches.
It seems Sheffield's media campaign against Voth and the Devils is having an effect - support for Cardiff is growing.
I see Burge was being described as the 'Real Deal' on the Elite League forums last night after paying up that £2,000.
In the past, as Voth pointed out last season, he was left all alone when he was faced with problems.
The Devils even hit him with a £500 club fine after his mid-ice hit on Sheffield's Ashley Tait, but now Cardiff are sticking by their players.

Will he be able to play a good game with this hanging over his head.? Every move he makes will be scrutanised and he will have to walk away from any goading, practicaly play a no contact game -Is he capable of that? I is really fair on him?

no...he wont get punished just for getting normal game penalities wether they be minor or major. he would however get battered by the league if he was to get a match penalty or instigate things which Hull or Cov will want reviewed. Normal game play from Brad should be acceptable. I cant see Brad practising his "golf swing" or "sucker punches" tonite, but i think if things go above and beyond where Big Mac, Hartwick, Campbell, Jarvis and Prpich, cant handle the roughness, then i'm sure Brad will step up to the mark and not over it

Last season, after his run in with Ashline and the trial by media that followed, and when he had Darling to take the enforcer role, he settled down to being content to just score goals. I suspect Big Mac will be ready to step in and enforce where needed, allowing Brad to concentrate on his game. I can see the Hull players trying hard to get a rise out of him, but I suspect that would happen anyway. Good or Bad, he is a skilled player and it will prevent us being too shorthanded till the Tulip arrives ;)

Anybody know when the appeal is being heard? I guess we'll hear the outcome first on the Sheffield website!
