doug mcEwen for me.his skating was smooth and he could glide past players with ease.my first ever game he scored an amazing goal against ayr raiders that got me hooked on hockey.i'd also like to see mike macwilliam who was the toughest player i ever seen and could play aswell.he played in the toughest league britain ever seen as there was some real tough nuts in the isl days.

Many of the above I'd also love to see the original #26, mr Ware himself ice.
Always remember him battering us when we played for the racers then lawless subsequently got him, just loved that red mist appearing, you could see the opposition crumble when he gave them his "terminator" look saw it many times when he was returning to the bench as he said to them "i'll be back". I sat in blk 3 behind the bench in that magical WNIR so saw it many times.

I haven't gone for a favourite player, I've chosen based on how the 26/27 squad currently looks and what we need.
Goalies are done, and the D is stacked (ruling out Hotham, Strachan, Teplitsky, Noble, Norris)
We have the grit it would appear (ruling out McIntyre, Michel, Chasse, Matulik, Haddad)
We desperately need some scoring as it stands, so I think I'd be inclined to bring the Black Line from 1997-98. If I had to go for one of them it would be Ken Hodge.
However, I'd also love to Voth in this league!!!
