Good Afternoon hockey folk. Join me (Russky) from about 6:30pm as we bring you our unique Devils flavoured coverage of the tonights game at the IAW.

Our lone texter is as far as I know still en route to the IAW from his home in Sunny Port Talbot. Tonight Phil Egan is our texter.

so far we have predictions in, Hazel says 3-2 and Ultra confident Pete says 6-1

whereas Rhodri is hoping for a barnstormer of a game with the Devils emerging triumphant on a score of 3-1

meanwhile Mark Gough sees it as 4-2 to Devils to extend the unbeaten streak to 12 games.

There are 4 other games this evening: Blaze @ Panthers; Braehead @ Belfast;Manchester @ Sheffield and finally Guildford have travelled all the way to Kirkcaldy to face the Fife Flyers.

Cornwall Taffy is predicting a 5-2 Devils win.

Some familiar names in the MK line up, former Devils Guillaume Doucet and Denny Kearney. Matt Nickerson Mikka Wiikman and Jonathan Boxhill. One to watch is Francis Verrault-Paul who has proven to be a real sniper on previous meetings between the clubs.

Phil Egan says: Devils seem to be in control of this game. So far just the one goal separating the teams but the Devils have hit the framework twice. Fournier is skating aroind everyone as per usual. Marv Hotham seems to be bashing Kearney about quite a bit. I dont know if there is any ill-will from previous matches but there seems as if something is up. I dont know why we didnt keep Kearney as he is a bit of a menace when he gets the puck. A good period from the Devils. Good solid PK. More of the same in the second please Devils.

Phil Egan says: Another good period from the Devils. Some well worked goals. Kearney took his breakaway goal well but pulled a great move to bluff Bownsy. Devils still looking the stronger and more dominant team here. Looking forward to another good period of hockey in the third.
