Hopefully the injection of speed and youth will allow the team to keep up with the Flames and other, faster teams this season. And also will allow our smaller players to avoid being railroaded by the bigger, more aggressive players on teams like the Clan.

Last season Devils were so weak in the aggression stakes. Previously, Lordo's teams were defined by grit and aggressive play by his players irrespective of their size and strength. Don't ever remember Sean Bentovolio or Jake Morissette running into problems with bigger opposition. They knew how to dodge them.

Hopefully PR can instill the same sort of fire in our players that fans have seen he possesses himself. Fans don't just want to be entertained. They want a team who will play for the logo and leave it all out there win or lose.

Update: we have brought in the Steelers ice pad designer, and they have covered center ice with shag pile carpet....

Gantry has been expanded as well...

Glad that Crawford is back and Pietroniro as a spare should be fine. That is as positive as I can be with tonight's news . Also that logo is hideous, who thought that was a good idea?
