Ambulance parked outside Vindico Arena

Hi all,

There's an ambulance parked outside the vindico arena tonight in what looks like a reserved space. Does anyone know this has been arranged after what happened last weekend with the sad passing of Adam Johnson in the Sheffield arena?

In days well in the past I am sure there used to be an ambulance in attendance - then it stopped?

Had a medic stationed at the front of Block 20 too.

Hasn't there always been an ambulance at the rink? Certainly was at BBT.

Not seen one parked outside the arena before. Tbh professional rugby and football games usually have them so it makes sense.

Apparently it's normally parked st the back.

I think it's compulsory for all sporting events over a certain capacity to have an ambulance in attendance.

Sadly Steve it also Used to be the standard procedure years ago. Either a SJA or Welsh NHS Ambulance but it seemed to stop a while back for some unknown reason. Glad it is back now and hopefully in place for all ice hockey games not just the EIHL or the CD.

Yes did see it, obviously it hit home after last weekends events, not seen any form of first aider this season before last night, used to be St. John's in attendance last season .
