Belfast have signed Swedish import Hendrik Ericsson, 6ft 32ys of age left wing, very good pedigree looks a good player.

A good signing. Elite Prospects shows a rather large Belfast Giants roster listed (including 4 goalies!) but no indication against players which of them is on IR. Like the Devils, some of the British players are youngsters or on two ways.

Still confused though. Having signed 4 players in the last month (Roach, Hook, Besko and Ericsson), have the Giants met their official quota of allowed extra signings?

Believe you may have got the wrong Eriksson, as the one Belfast signed is 26.

Wholeheartedly agree. In the interests of integrity, there should be transparency around the wage cap and how it is structured and managed.

It would imagine it's practically impossible to enforce a wage cap with creative bonuses and such, so would be good to know whether it really does exist.
