This has to be the most games we've played without matching up against our old friends the Blaze. We used to see them more frequently than our families at one point.
Devils head to the wondrous Skydome Sunday night for the second CC game of the weekend.

Just for info for those travelling by car, the roadworks at the SkyDome junction of the ring road are now pretty much finished and you can drive to the car park behind the SkyDome again
(I’m told it is still hell to get out of after the game).
The car park under the ring road is now gone, the alternative parking is still there at the Belgrade theatre car park and is a few minutes walk away.
Welcome back to Coventry…

Is Belgrade Plaza still charging a second mortgage? If so, any other options available as the Skydome car park is a nightmare afterwards as you said

Sorry to say but unfortunately there’s only really the two that are near by (SkyDome and Plaza), I used to park behind the buildings opposite the under the ring road car park, but that’s now a less desirable blot on our city map and you might be looking for new wheels/car if you risk it now.
All of the Sunday bargain car parks seem to close at 5.30 now
SkyDome and
Plaza prices are here

Game sheet (current version) has Tyler Perre as having changed his name over night or we have picked up a local emergency backup also called Tyler. No Bowns presumably for the same reason as yesterday.

Update: Tyler De La Bertouche is with Peterborough Phantoms at age 17 - and is our emergency today

Same lines as last night with no Waller or Barrow, but also no Batch...

A bit too all-action I period one from the Devils. We need to calm the pace and focus on end product. PP, with Mosey doing the screening of Kozun, looked dangerous and the Blaze, bar the dangerous McNulty have been well handled. Skydome is deserted and that has contributed to a low-key game so far.

End of 1st 1-1, very boring game, lousy attendance in Coventry, Planet Ice showing why you should never let them run a rink, ice crap. Rink looking like crap, logos on ice look like they have been there for 10 yrs, Commentry idiots never come up for air, obviously love to hear their own voices, and talk a total load of shite. Other than that on a positive note we don’t play out of a dump, thankfully.

More of the same that period, Devils having a ton of possession but struggling to break down the Blaze D. Bar McNulty and Kirkup Blaze are offering little but as ever with a Danny Stewart team they are a pain to get through. It’s getting pretty chippy with Chad at the centre of most rounds of handbags

Come on lads you’re better than this, Blaze are a pretty lousy team and seem to be dragging us down to their level. 1 period left let’s play as we can.
