Caps 2-1 Devils at 24mins. Lambert with the goal

Caps 3-1 Devils at 28:28. Beynon with the goal after 3 rebounds.

not really suprising considering we have crisp in net and at the moment a quite woeful defense. I would have liked it if we had tried to close the gap on nottingham to end up the season but there we go.

Almost anything that prevents us playing the steelers is worth considering! Not that I am suggesting we should be totally unprofessional that we giftwrap tonights points for the CAPS! ;)

Crisp is playing well. Lots of the goals there was little he could do - perhaps a bit more experience would see his positioning improved.

Devils playing at 40%, but not an overly un-entertaining match. We can get back in this, but Crisp doing well, and the defence letting him face pucks. We are just letting the Caps play their game, not making horrible mistakes.

Max's goal was an absolute beauty.
