Devils should not have had that much difficulty beating the 10th place Capitals who were playing their 4th game in 6 days. However, it's a much needed win made even sweeter with the Steelers loss.

Hard game against the caps as usual. great result by Fife cant wait to see thommos excuses sorry meant reasons for losing lol

Really thought it was going to be one of those nights tonight but thankfully we picked up the points. At this point I don't really care how we win as long as we do just that...win!
A tough, gritty win made all that more sweeter by steelers losing to fife. Our destiny is in our own hands but always nice when our title rivals slip up :)

why oh why do we always struggle against the caps away........ never mind 2 more points in the bag:)

Really dont understand why we drop culligan......... rather he was on the ice. Too versatile a player

Tricky one....yesterday Bordy was a healthy scratch..Culli scores. Today Culli scratched and Bordy scores. You could say that this was excellent coaching and player rotation!

Yeah, scratching a player the night after he scores is pure genius! :D
If we'd have lost tonight in OT he'd be an idiot.

Tyke Devil, this was the 2nd time Culli was scratched in the 5 games since the Devils added the extra import. - Doucette, Culli, Louis, Bordeleau & Culli again. I guess we'll see what kind of rotation it is?

The teams for the two games last weekend would most likely have been set by the Coach days ago. So Culli getting a goal was neither here or there. Bordy was always playing against the Caps. Anyway, lets face it..it wasn't that difficult to score against Blaze on Saturday! :)
