Too honest about what do we reckon? The coaching team last year? His own performances, or maybe abuse he gets from "fans"?

Probably all three, I'd like to have seen how he assessed the majority of his performance last year though. As for the most part he simply wasn't at the races and Kozun was the far more reliable goalie. If he's super honest even he can admit he wasn't good enough in parts.

Great to see Ben back. A player who excels on the PK and is a nightmare to play against. His work ethic and energy are tremendous. With Duggan and Brandt, the most entertaining line combo many times last season.

Now that is a great (re)signing. Very happy with that. It was noticeable when he didn’t make the trip to Belfast. He makes a huge difference to this teams. He puts in some phenomenal solo efforts on the penalty kill when he steals the puck and retains in down the other end for 30 seconds whilst getting smashed into the boards. He’s some player.

Great to see Ben Davies confirmed as returning.

It guarantees us the best Brit pack in the league and a return of the best 4th line in the league from last year.

As John quite rightly points out in the interview, if he was on any other team he'd be on a higher line.
