Going about as well as you'd expect against the champions with the second game against Finns in as many days. The CHL simply doesn't like the smaller leagues, and it shows.

Listening to Murphy say the Finnish teams budget is 5 times that of the EIHL I assume he’s excluding Giants from that with their 53 players ;-)

I thought our game tonight v Amiens was far more entertaining than the CHL I watched this afternoon.
Our speed and skill made CHL look pedestrian.

I didn't see the second CHL game because I was on my way to the rink. In the first game, although Belfast played well, it was all about covering the zone and not making mistakes. That made for a fairly pedestrian game.

In contrast, I feel increasingly confident that this year's devils are going to be a joy to watch.

I watched Trinec and rapperswil, Trinic the batter team and leading 5-2 start of 3rd, it was that new rule that ultimately cost them had a 5 on 3 PK for just 2 minutes despite being scored in twice..I'm not a fan of it

That’s true, one game had hockey skill, the other was 90’s knuckle draggers.
