I would be very carfeful being too critical of any other teams signings until Devils have signed their team. We may be wishing for players like him! :evil:

Sarich is a very strange signing for the Steelers. :shock:

When he left the year before last most people were saying he was past it as a top d man. Admittedly he probably hasn't been signed for that role on this occasion but a year out at a professional level is a fair amount of time. I thought the Steelers would be aiming considerably higher IMO.

Classed as a Brit or EU passport holder? With Fata and Langlais rumoured to be going, this might give G a bit more financial flexibilty on their replacements. Sarich bleeds Steelers. Knows club workings and ethos and and is commited. Could be a good move.

Probably. He said he had contracts from EPL and Elite last season but turned them down because he wanted to play for us. I've not decided whether this is good or bad yet for us, time will tell I guess.
