Just checked the Blaze site and they are saying seven.

Sorry all I put to much faith in the Devils site :grin:

You would think he would have had enough after G cleaned his clock earlier in the season.

The last time i saw someone take that many uppcercuts Muhammed Ali was interviewed afterwards :mrgreen:

That was an abject third period by us (going by the web cast). I know what the cynic in me thinks! But what a weekend we've got to look forward to :twisted:

I took that the Devils never really cared.

This was a nothing game, and we played the third like it was such. A bad habit.

If we actually skated and played I don't see that Blaze side being an issue in a competitive gave.

I took that the Devils never really cared.

Well they should have cared IMHO, fans payed a lot of money to watch it.

The 3rd period wasn't great but it was a nothing game for us in a way.

Was good to see Frank on the wing, Griffin had 3 huge hits from Frank through the game. 1st period we looked great, 2nd we started to slow down and 3rd just nothing at all apart from Richie's goal which was a ripper.

Very quiet crowd in Coventry all night despite taking the lead and winning the game.

Completely agree. I can see us winning by a thin margin in the Sky Dome and then demolishing them at home next week.

True, but the outcome suited everyone...players, fans and owners alike. I won't say any more but I'm sure many were thinking the same...

The tuning was quite funny on the webcast :p Maybe if I take an instrumental version on CD for next week and try and convince the DJ to play it ?!

Agree. Proud of blaze for turning it around in recent weeks when is looked like it could turn embarrassing but only thing that can stop devils from qualifying would be severe overconfidence.
