Just like busses or Coventry games of seasons past its gameday again and its the Clan again. Third time in 8 days? Not much to say that hasn't been said, brutal run of games, check, hopefully some players back, check. The players must be spending more time with the Clan than with their families at this point. Having said all that, its the second leg of the 1/4 final and we take a slim one goal lead into this leg. Clan are no slouches this year nestled just below us in third on the league table so it should be a tough game. We've yet to lose to them this season I think so lets keep that run going.

No Goat, Barrow or Chad.
Did Joey catch a puck to the side of the head in Scotland? Remember seeing he went down but didn't catch exactly what happened :(
Harewood on the gamesheet for tonight, good to see him get the callup - he looked really promising preseason & is putting up more than a PPG in Bristol by the looks of it. Hope he gets some good ice time tonight

Joey never iced in Scotland last week or are you thinking of previous to that?
So many games against Clan & Stars past few weeks, they all blend into one! Pretty sure one of the highlight vids of the past week or two it was, the commentator noted that it looked like a nasty hit to 88's head but don't think it was caught on the camera - may be completely wrong of course, regardless hope him and Barrow are recovering well.

Need to play simple and no pretty passing. Get traffic in front of that goalie. Clan goals scored by crowding our goal and getting Bowns moving to create space to score. Our pp is pedestrian....concrete pylons would have more mobility and continuity.

Devils on a very slow burn tonight.

shocking performance, left with 2 mins to go in the 2nd,
you could see only 1 result.
PR opening after match line "Yeah, I thought we played well".........
Oh well there's always the 2nd ranked European cup

4 games in 8 days....a game too far. TK and our organisation won't be happy though....potential lost revenue from semi final that won't happen.

The upside is that the Team can concentrate fully on the other competitions where they do stand a chance and can build consistency.

Always thought the Challenge Cup format badly needs an overhaul and it's continuation into the New Year with endless rounds of games just congests a busy schedule. No one ever remembers who was in the quarter finals or semi finals or the runner up in the Final. Clan or any opposition most likely will be destroyed by the Steelers anyway who seem unstoppable at the moment.
